The Data Protection Act 1998 was updated in May 2018. Renew Chiropractic takes data protection very seriously and wants people to be freely aware of what happens to their personal and private information. Renew Chiropractic uses both manual and electronic systems to store patient details whether this be emails, contact numbers, personal information and/or addresses. The information collected is 100% secure and stored in accordance with the current Data Protection Act 1998. It is Renew Chiropractic’s sole responsibility to ensure this information is kept up to date and follows in accordance to current regulations. No information is released to a third party, for example to your GP without your consent which is discussed in your initial assessment. Any contact via social media if not privately messaged cannot be guaranteed to be secure from unauthorised access.
